Who Can We Treat?

We can treat patients with Sutent, Nexavar, Avastin, Torisel and Afinitor. Ahmed El-Modir, consultant oncologist explains: “These breakthrough drugs are as significant for kidney cancer patients as Herceptin is for breast cancer patients.”

They work on specific targets within the cancer cells which have been shown to be far more effective than immunotherapy, which has been the standard treatment. Studies show patients on these new biological therapies have better response and survival rates than those on immunotherapy.”

External Beam Radiotherapy (EBR) is also offered as an advanced kidney cancer treatment along with immunotherapy (Interferon, Interleukin).

We are also now able to offer Axitinb, a new second line treatment for kidney cancer.
